ReplyDeleteI guess it depends on which colour scheme you prefer too... though the Gear Up series is a limited-run series (good for Nerf collectors) and comes with some additional exclusive Gear Up design foam darts.

ReplyDeleteI'm not too familiar with the Nerf blaster availability in UK, but the Gear Up Series is supposed to be released before the official launch of the Vortex Series (which is on 9.10.11)... i guess you could check with the staff at dept stores around your area.

ReplyDeleteI took the photo at OG Albert Complex, you should be able to get the Gear Up Series at major dept stores which stock Nerf blasters (ie. Toys R Us, OG, Metro, Isetan, Takashimaya etc). Just shop around to find them.

I think the gear up has a vortex disk in the packaging, can you check on this for me, i will return the favor. just let me know if you need something.

ReplyDeleteYes, the Gear Up Series blaster boxes are packaged with a free Vortex disc included.
But note that for the Gear Up Series Maverick boxes, the disc is only taped in an exposed position, therefore there is quite a high chance they go "missing", so do check that the disc is intact before you purchase a set. :)

ReplyDeleteWell, i'm not planning to get another whole bunch of blasters which are basically re-painted versions of existing models (already have too many of those)... more keen on the newer stuff like the Vortex Series.
Anyways, there are already lots of reviews of the Gear Up Series models posted online by others, so you can check out those. :)
