  6. Guys, just wanna let everyone know that the Whiteout Maverick is lighter than the normal Yellow Maverick. Only found out last sat when a fellow NerfSG member confirmed it. I have compared the 2 in each hand and the Whiteout version feels slightly lighter than the normal one.

  10. The Elite Nerf Lord,

They are exactly the same as the standard Nerf blasters, just in a different colour scheme.

  11. The Whiteouts seem to be made of a lighter plastic than the regular guns - this might not be a good thing if you're looking for something which feels solid in your hands. I got a Whiteout Deploy and it feels really light, making the imbalance due to the batteries stuck in the front even more obvious. Whiteout guns also tend to fire a bit louder (not sure if it means further) - maybe there are some modifications done to the barrel which make them fire with a CRACK rather than a THUNG. I know my son's normal Recon is has a nice and soft springy sound to it, while my Whiteout Deploy feels like it's going to break every time I fire it. Maybe I just got a dud version - I have half a mind to buy a regular Deploy cheap and swap the internals over.

The Maverick looks really tempting though - that's one gun which I won't mind having a bit lighter!
