    1. Hydriden,

In general, the Elite foam darts achieve further range when used in stock blasters, compared to the older streamline foam darts.

You can read more about them in this link:

There are also new details on the clip shells too (ie. "18" number embossed on the sides, small logos printed near the bottom on the clear side etc), other than that they work the same as the older 18-dart clip version.

    1. Cp nerf,

No idea, i'm not even on the "list" getting free stuff early like other bloggers in the USA... so far i've had to purchase my own Elite blasters from Amazon just to do reviews. :)

    1. Tjew S W,

      Amazon.com prices are in $USD.

The cost to ship them internationally to Singapore thru Amazon.com worked out to around USD$4+ per set (based on a shipment of 4 sets that i ordered).

I guess you can also check other places like the other USA store sites (Target, Toys R Us, Walmart etc) or eBay, compare their deals and see which ones can ship internationally.

    3. Tjew S W,

Its around that cost, also depending on the number of sets you order and the prevailing currency exchange rate.

The new Elite foam darts are compatible with all Nerf clip system blasters too, they are designed to have better range and balance than the older Streamline foam darts.

You can read about the differences in their design here:

  10. I've seen my Stampede destroy the back of my streamline darts, do you think the elite darts will be destroyed as well?

    1. Anonymous,

Well, Elite foam darts are basically like Streamline foam darts... its mainly their tip design and weight that is different.

You can have a look at the comparison here:

      http://modworks.blogspot.com/2012/07/elite-foam-darts-comparison-internals.html

Its not going to be much different in terms of the foam darts getting damaged by the bolt though.

One of the reasons why foam darts get jammed or chopped behind by the bolt is because the clips or drum magazines used are not working properly, as they don't advance the foam darts fast enough, the foam darts only advance halfway and get chopped by the moving bolt.

You have to make sure to use good working clips to minimize such issues.
