@SG nerf please tell me is the last one real and how does it work it seems to have a thing on the trigger like the big vortex gun (forget name)and does it shoot like every shot it spins to next clip or switches clips when empty.
The strange clip carousel really ruins the last one for me, everything else is a "rifle" or "machine gun" version of the barricade, which would be great.
the elite barricade has a different shoulder stock than the original shoulder stock....and all the shoulder stocks of the elite barricade, retaliator and rampage have similar shoulder stock...especially the retaliator and rampage....
@sgnerf Do you buy your nerf guns over the internet? If yes,can you recomened a safe seller which sells cheap nerf guns? thx. oh btw, i heard that the takashimaya is going to stock up the longshots.
You can try Amazon.com or eBay.com, just have to check that the sellers are able to offer international shipping or you'll need to use a 3rd party shipping service (ie. vPost).
Yes, there is news that a limited batch of Longshots could be popping up at local dept stores soon, so do keep a lookout for them.
i think the 75 feet range is achieved only from the 'elite' darts which tend to be alot heavier from streamlines...so if the darts make the 75 feet range they will perform the same on 'normal' n-strike correct me if i'm wrong
ive created a local nerf club in my town and i was wandering if u could put a link to my blog on the bar thing of the left. URL: http://wpnb.blogspot.com/
Well, they are supposed to be popping up sometime this week but at this moment the stores have not stocked them yet. I'll post an update once they actually get stocked up in stores.
The Barricade looks alot more like the Bizon PP19, I like it. The one i'm most likely to pick up is the barricade, (semi-auto fan), but that one on the bottom is freaking crazy looking. How will that even look?
I'm likely going to pck up the Rampage(Btw it's the one that looks like a raider) because of the shield and the slam fire. I'm not going to pick up the Retaliator(one that looks like a recon). The last one is just fricking crazy! I'm not sure if I want to pick one up. If it's full auto, then I will. If it's semi auto, screw it.
I am seriously considering selling my N-Strike guns to upgrade to this stuff. my recon and raider are first to be swapped, then my others as a replecement is out. this is gonna be awesome, DOUBLE THE POWER!!
It looks like the transparent "shield" on the Rampage could actually be a clear copy of the unproven Nitron shield, which is actually a type of heads-up display (note the crosshairs directly above the tactial rail). With the new videos that Nerf has recently released, the shield/HUD might not even be real, but wouldn't it be awesome if it was? SG, your thoughts?
I converted the prices (give or take 3 U.S. Dollars)
- Elite Retaliator= $ 60
- Elite Hail-fire= $ 100
- Elite Rampage= $ 69
- Elite Barricade= $ 53
Also for those who don't know, the US release date for these guns is on September 9th,2012 (9/9/12). I've heard this is going to be big, so instead of buying any on-sale, older Nerf guns, i would save my money for these new guns. What sucks is they come out 2 days AFTER summer ends for all kids. Oh well...
I Hated the barricade. why are they remaking it.
ReplyDeleteBecause you hated the original.(:
DeleteThe Barricade is awesome!
Deleteplease tell me that last one is going to be real

Deleteblackhawk,
DeleteThose are all upcoming blasters, the last one in the photos is the Nerf Hailfire.
No details on how it actually works at the moment, but i'll be posting up a review once i get a unit to try out.

ReplyDeleteThat last one looks like a monster! Definitely picking one up
ReplyDeleteI don't know what that last thing is,but it's fucking CRAZY AND AWESOME!
ReplyDeletethere is also a red and grey vortex gun.
Deleteawww it so happens that the hailfire is a flywheel blaster :(
ReplyDeletePerhaps the secondary trigger rotates the carousel?
DeleteThe Hailfire appears to be a flywheel. The secondary trigger should power it up.

ReplyDeleteall of them are just remakes of old guns bit the last one...

SG Nerf,
ReplyDeleteDo you know when the Nerf Elite Series released in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia?
Anonymous,
DeleteThe Elite blasters and accessories are already released in Singapore, check out this site post:
http://sgnerf.blogspot.com/2012/08/nerf-n-strike-elite-blasters.html
Sorry i've no idea when they are released in Malaysia or Indonesia, you'll have to check with the dept stores in those countries.
SG Nerf,
ReplyDeleteIs the Nerf Elite Series really shoot 75ft and farther than the Nerf Vortex?
Anonymous,
DeleteThe "up to 75ft distance" ranges are based on firing them at an angle.
You can check out my reviews, demos and range tests on the Elite Retaliator and Rampage here:

SG Nerf,
ReplyDeleteIs the Longshot still available in Singapore or somewhere in the world?
Anonymous,
DeleteAt this moment, the Longshot (yellow version) is still available at local dept stores in Singapore, while stocks last.
They seem to be sold out in most other countries though.
In what stores are they?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteThe new Elite Series blasters are now available at most major dept stores in Singapore (ie. Toys R Us, Metro, OG etc).
No, not the elite. The Longshot. Do you know where is it?
DeleteAnonymous,
DeleteThe Longshot (yellow version) is currently still available at most dept stores in Singapore too, while stocks last.
They seem to be sold out in most other countries though.
SG Nerf,
ReplyDeleteCheck this : http://www.nerfmodsreviews.com/2012_10_01_archive.html?m=1
I hope this helps.
There should be a nerf gun that:
ReplyDeletea. is automatic
b. has mags
like a proper MG
