  1. How many new blasters is Nerf coming out with this year? Oh well, the more blasters coming out, the better. And yet we still don't know what the Stampede looks like.

  2. I've been debating buying a buzzbee doubleshot (I need my boomstck!), thanks for the Nerf alternative, just in time!

  3. hey, is this going to come out in 9-9-10 too?

  4. Do you think this will be out in august like the trooper?

  5. 2 shots before a reload, nice and small, awesome-looking, shotgun-like, tactical ammo holder... it's the sidearm from hell! I don't see any problems with this gun at all! (Because this is a sidearm, range doesn't matter, but if it was good, that would be awesome.)

If you could dual wield them, you'd be a Nerf terror! ;D

  6. I don't see any way to cock the gun. Do you think it is semi automatic? They are sure gonna come out with a lot of Nerf blasters this year.!

  7. By the looks of it you can attach a tactical rail accesorie cus the exta bullet holder attachs by tactical rail meaning you can also attach the extra bullet holder to other guns. if you connected it to a pistol that would be awsome

  8. buttstock seems to be able to fold out... Well, all are hoping for his to come out soon!

  9. I am hoping the buttstock is modular like the Rev-5's, it'd be nice to have options with a gun this awesome.

  10. Looks like Hasbro's answer to BuzzBee's Double Shot blaster.

  11. @SteveTehPiolet: I have everything ready to make holsters already... except measurements. :(

Also, I think I know how to mod it so it breaks apart, cocks, and loads itself... if it works like a DS. Heh, heh... ;D

  12. well the back stock may be atachable/detachable we well know when the back box art comes out, are gun wichever comes first.
John it looks like the silver think on the is how you load it.
Maeby nerf will release all of them on 9.9.10. what is with nerf and realsing guns on 9.9.something

  13. Whoa. The tactical rail ammo holder would be a beast on the Firefly REV-8, since it holds eight darts.

  14. Awesome thats all that needs to be said...

  15. @John - Come to think of it, although it may be a faux barrel, there are a number of hinges underneath it, and it might possibly prime the gun as part of the reload process, i.e. when you flick the barrel back up it primes the gun... if so, I definitely want one!

  16. @john you cock the gun gun when you load it, judging by the picture, when you 'break the barrel', the black bit moves up from the rest of the gun, it moves on hinges near the front, if you look at the bottom there is a bit sticking out which has a screw going through it and goes back into the main body of the gun, that would cock it.

@RedOx how could you get it to load itself?

and just a general observation so far, it doesnt seem to have a mounting point for a stock, it seems to be a dart model of a sawn off shot gun

  17. I can't really see the back well, it looks like a silver block of unknown ness. plus because it doesn't have shells does that mean it loads from the front piece (that is not the barrel that rotates)?

  18. SteveTehPirate,

No photo of the back of the box at the moment, we'll just have to keep a lookout for it popping up soon. :)

  19. SgN has posted a link to the original NerfHaven thread.

There, Talio has stated that the Barrel Break will be available in August 2010, as said by the Hasbro Representative which sent to E-mail to Talio.

  20. Why does Signapore get the most new Nerf guns first. And competitions like the Nerf Mission Zone.

  23. baejmk,

The Barrel Break doesn't require seperate ammo shells for the loading of foam darts.

    ReplyDelete
  24. it looks like a googd nerf gun but may be bad on range

    ReplyDelete
  25. possibly cocks by sliding the silver thing down

    ReplyDelete
  26. titanmodder,

It has already been released and tested. The Barrel Break is primed by the lever action of "breaking" the barrel.

    1. Rennis,

It's currently still available at local Toys R Us stores, seems to be limited stock left though.

Once again, please refer to the current local retail price list in this page:

      http://sgnerf.blogspot.com/p/singapore-nerf-store-stock-list.html

You can read my review of it here:

      http://sgnerf.blogspot.com/2010/07/nerf-barrel-break-ix-2-review.html

Please do a search on this site to find and read the blaster reviews first before asking, it's really tedious and annoying for me to keep repeating info that is already posted.
