ReplyDeleteAt this moment, there are still plenty of units in stock. I popped by at Takashimaya and Paragon (Metro and Toys R Us) this afternoon, and all of them had lots of Transparent mavericks on the store shelves. :)
ReplyDeleteo thnks lol i expected there be not much after reading some comments about how after like 2 days there was no more stock but thnks anyway ur a real help
ReplyDeleteNo probs, enjoy your new Limited Edition Transparent Mavericks! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of range does the normal stock maverick get, 25-30 feet?
ReplyDeleteMaverick firing ranges usually average around 20-25 ft (aimed with a slight elevated angle).
ReplyDeletethe transparent maverick can shoot further because of the kind of darts. I used micros and the sonic darts. the sonic darts shot further. (actually i didnt know that.)
ReplyDeletewhat kind of darts does the transparent maverick comes with?
ReplyDeleteThe transparent Mavericks come with 6 x Sonic foam darts.
ReplyDeleteWhen can you get them in Canada? I searched 3 stores and found nothing... A little help?
ReplyDeleteforkandtheroad,
ReplyDeleteSorry, can't really help you much on that. Perhaps you can check at the canadian Nerf forums?
Hey people I saw one at Tesco Kota Bharu when I went there yesterday but I don't bring enough money D: It's a clear ver.
ReplyDeletei got it last week at target. It was the last one on the shelf and i just had to get it because it looked maaad. everyone should get it.
ReplyDeleteI am wondering SG,
ReplyDeleteWhich Nerf is better, the clear special or the normal hard to say.
Can I have your opinion man?
I am going to get one next week so i have to choose one.
Which would you choose?
Any pARTICULAR REASONS.
PLEASE TELL ME!
Thanks.
Ezekiel,
ReplyDeleteGet the clear or transparent variants, simply because they look cooler. :)
Thanks man. I'll take your pick.
ReplyDeleteAm arranging a Nerf war with some mates.
Thanks again.
Hey I have read almost all your reviews. They are so cool and detailed.
ReplyDeleteAnd your pictures are great as well/
thanks a lot.You are doing a great service to NERFKIND.
Thanks again.
p.s- Do you know if they have the nerf maverick clear limited edition in Toysrus midvalley KL?
Your information would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Please tell me how much is the nerf barricade in Malaysia?
ReplyDeleteIs it better than maverick.
Any Reasons?
Thanks
The Barricade looks cool
ReplyDeleteEzekiel,
ReplyDeleteI'm in Singapore so i'm not too familiar with the Nerf stock availability or pricing in M'sia.
You could check at the Nerf forums based in M'sia or just check out the dept stores around your area to find out.
Hey SG,
ReplyDeleteWhich is better the Nerf maverick or the Spectre???
Reasons please...............
Ezekiel,
ReplyDeleteIt depends on what features you prefer.
Get the Nerf Maverick if you want a higher 6-dart ammo capacity.
Get the Nerf Spectre if you want options to attach more N-Strike accessories but don't mind a lower 5-dart ammo capacity.
hello SG
ReplyDeleteis it still possible to get the transparent maverick at any shops or only Ebay
please respond
thanks
assult-marine,
ReplyDeleteThe transparent Maverick (Black Box version) seems to be all sold out in Singapore.
You might still be able to find the clear Maverick (Clear Series version) in local stores though, just have to shop around to find them.
SG Nerf,
ReplyDeleteWhat's the difference betweent the Clear Maverick and the Transparent one?
Range? Coloring? Anything?
Jessen L.
ReplyDeleteThey both have the same mechanisms and perform around the same.
The only difference i could spot was the Transparent Mavericks had a slightly matt exterior texture, compared to the Clear Series Mavericks which seemed to have a more glossy exterior.
Can u still get em amazon/toystores?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteYou'll have to shop around to find them.
Or you can order from Amazon too, just click on the Amazon product photo link at the bottom of my review.
Ok thanks alot btw Are there any differences between this and the original maverick (apart From the colour?)
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteThey are all mechanically the same, only the casing color is different.
I know this should be put on the longstrike review but what range mods can be done on the longstrike WITHOUT increasing firing noise?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeletePerhaps using customized foam darts optimized for better ranges in stock blasters or improving the plunger o-ring seal... those type of mods will not increase firing noise.
So changing the spring will increase noise,k thank I will try using customised foam darts, where can I buy these?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteYou can check at the various Nerf forums, see if any of the modders there have ready-made custom foam darts for sale.
Or you can just customize your own, just check out my custom calibrated foam darts conversion guides:

Thanks 4 the info!(:
ReplyDeleteAlso I was going to try elite darts, what do you think?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteWell, Elite foam darts are slightly more consistent and accurate than Streamlines, so you should see better performance out of them... but note that they still swerve in flight though (just less severe).
Is it me or did the fancy package of this gun did not come with darts.
ReplyDeleteJLX9,
DeleteThe foam darts are packaged inside the bottom portion of the box.
