  1. Why is there a green thing at the end of the belt?

    ReplyDelete
  2. kbeames,

The green shell at the end of the ammo belt is a blank spacer, its to aid in the last ammo shell to load and fire off properly.

  8. tombo19991,

Read my DIY Blasters site, all my R-Series blaster information is there:

    http://www.diyblasters.blogspot.com

You will have to be familiar with the SNAP blaster design before building the R-Series blasters, read up on the SNAP guides at the NerfHaven forum beforehand.

  10. Hey SGNerf,
I know this isn't exactly a question about the Vulcan, but what are the availabilities of the Clear Series in Singapore? I'm heading over just after Christmas and I'm wanting to buy a Recon. Thanks mate.

  12. I personally believe that NERF should stop making remakes and make some sort of clip for whistlers and sticky darts. Some sort of clip like the Firefly or Maverick, except removable.

    Anyone agree?

  13. Hey sg nerf,
This isn't about the Vulcan but to challenge you with a mod, heres a challenge: firefly, clip version with a barrel extension. I think that would be really cool!

  14. tommydudeguy,

Well, that's an interesting idea but for me its probably not something i'd spend my time on to make.

In my opinion, its way easier to just mod an existing clip-fed blaster (ie. Longshot) and get much more performance gains for alot less effort, and it'll still function the same or better than a converted Firefly (which i'll have to go through alot more extensive modding just to get it converted and modded).

I guess i tend to prefer the modding principle of: less effort + more gains. :)

  15. Here's a question, sg nerf, (another) can the normal refill clips hold and fire suction cup darts? Or modded so they can?

    ReplyDelete
  16. tommydudeguy,

N-Strike clips are designed to be used with Nerf Streamline foam darts or foam darts with narrow tips.

If you load suction-tipped foam darts into the clips, you'll notice the darts would end up getting stacked at an angle due to the wider tips, this creates problems in the clip operation and chambering of foam darts.

So far, i've not spotted anyone successfully mod a N-Strike clip to properly load and use suction-tipped foam darts.

  17. Is it safe to buy from Amazon? I've seen some pretty bad reviews from the $29.00 (idk which currency is this, most likely USD?) and it says things like it jams and all, so shud i buy it online or go straight to some shop in SG and get it?

    ReplyDelete
  18. urmumsanig,

Amazon prices are in $USD, but note that they don't ship Nerf blasters to Singapore.

You will need to get a 3rd party shipper to do that for you, though the shipping cost will be high due to the large size of the box.

In addition, you'll have to take the risk in case you receive a faulty units as it is tough to do product exchanges with overseas stores.

Normal Yellow Nerf Vulcans are currently on clearance at dept stores in Singapore now, so you can get those locally while stocks last.

  19. Where can i get a 54.90 vulcan? I saw one recently but it was 99.90:(

    ReplyDelete
  20. urmumsanig,

Metro, OG, Toys R Us... those places currently have Nerf Vulcans on clearance at SGD$54.90.

  21. Just a thought, when the first EBF-25 was released, the ammo belt's end was both grey. The new one is green and it seems that there are now a slit cut open on every casing instead of the tube on the first released EBF-25. Was there any real performance upgrades on both the EBF-25 and the ammo belt compared to the newer ones? Plus I noticed the old EBF-25 has the longer barrel but the new ones seems short.

  22. Hey, do you think I could use some of your photos for my website? I would give all the credit to you.
    Thanks,
    Noah

  23. Tactical Flying Samurai,

I've tested all the various Vulcan variants and so far i've not spotted any noticeable difference in their firing performance.

I guess its just minor design improvements to help the blasters function better and more reliably.

  24. noah,

Yes, you can use some of the photos from here, just credit them back to this site.

  25. Is there a warranty for a nerf vulcan because i got this like 2 days ago and its stopped firing...and who do i approach if there is a warranty, the department store? and its not the problem with the batteries i bought new ones and it didnt fire as well

    ReplyDelete
  26. urmumsanig,

Most major dept stores should have a product return policy, so you should be able to return it to the store (with your recept) and exchange it for a new working unit.

    ReplyDelete
  27. sgnerf,if i dont put the 6D battery i also can open the single fire right?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Eric,

Yes, for the Nerf Vulcan, it can be manually primed to fire single shots, without the need for batteries.

    ReplyDelete
  29. how far can the nerf vulcan goes to?
