The Nerf Longshot CS-6 (Yellow version) has popped back in stock at local stores in Singapore.
Retail Price: SGD$79.90
This stack of boxes were spotted at Metro Paragon.
Retail sources mention that they are a limited one time re-stock... so get them while stocks last! :)
As of today on Amazon, the long shots are only 16.95.

love the site btw :)
Weird! I guess they hadn't got their money's worth out of the yellow plastic shipment...
ReplyDeleteBut I thought that blue longshots are no longer to be created? If it's a limited restock, will the longshots be extinct in the malls? Or is it just in Singapore?
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's due to the release of it in the UK? In the US, the Longshot was on clearance/on it's way out to the point where I don't think they're depleted of their remaining stock. Get 'em while you can, Singapore!
ReplyDeletenot to mention they recently announced on facebook that they were bringing the longshot to the UK
ReplyDeleteNerf Meagafan,
ReplyDeleteThe photo and description indicate Yellow Longshots... not Blue versions.
longshot's
ReplyDeleteyeah!
i'm going to buy 4
NerfSg...
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the forums?
Kim,
ReplyDeleteIt could be temporarily off-line for maintenance, just trying checking back later.
Its high time Hasbro release Clear Longshots
ReplyDeleteDo you think that longshot shoots farther then longstrike? A review on youtube said that long shot is better.
ReplyDeleteJava Programmer,
ReplyDeleteStock range for both blasters are around the same, +/- a few feet.
Its only after being modded that the Longshot has much greater range (due to its larger direct plunger volume) compared to a similarly modded Longstrike (which has a much smaller plunger).
Hi SG Nerf, do you have any information for Canada about if we are going to get Longshots for say... Boxing Day?
ReplyDeleteSuperShadowPikachu,
ReplyDeleteI've no idea of the Nerf stock availability for Canada, I'm situated in Singapore.
Perhaps you can just check with the dept stores around your area.
I found 2 beat-up Longshots in Walmart, simply marked as "Nerf Gun" and for only USD$15. Thought they just had a couple in their warehouses leftover. But maybe not.
ReplyDeleteAre these available in Toys R Us? Cos I can't go all the way to Paragon. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJason Snafu Yap,
ReplyDeleteSo far, Longshots haven't been spotted at local Toys R Us outlets yet. I guess you could check with the staff at the outlet near your area on when they are expecting to have Longshots in stock.
why dont u post blue longshot.it is better than this yellow longshot.
ReplyDeletei think blue longshot is good because i buy inside got 12darts and 2 clip, but yellow longshot buy inside got 6darts and 1 clip only.
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteBlue Longshots have been sold out since last year and are not available in stores anymore.
Only the Yellow Longshots are back in stock in local stores... until stocks last though.
Thank you SG Nerf! I got the Longshot at Paragon. There are at least another 8 boxes left after buying it. But I do have some problems putting the trigger into the front barrel.
ReplyDeleteJason Snafu Yap,
ReplyDeleteTo attach on the front blaster trigger handle component, you'll need to apply more strength to snap it into the front blaster.
Hey Pvt Ryan here! just need to ask, are these new longshots weaker than the previous batch?
ReplyDelete( Previous as in referring to the stock from January onwards )
I noticed these new longshots have seemingly have pretty weak springs ( explains why they are easy to prime ) When I went for the EOY recently, I managed to test out some stock longshots there and got very similar results : Weak springs. I had ordered a longshot from the 'States a while back in June this year and had noticed it had a spring of pretty good strength( try imagining a strong stock spring that doesn't break your bolt sled, thats how mine was ) I know there are manufacturing variations with each batch of guns produced but I have a few friends with older longshots that have the same spring tensity of mine. Yeah its possible we got some over-powered lemon units here but I'm a bit curious :)
o...thx.
ReplyDeletethen whr can buy blue longshot?
do they make longshots anymore?
ReplyDeleteRyan =],
ReplyDeleteWell, i've owned and tested dozens of stock Longshots manufactured over the past few years (both blue and yellow versions) and they all seem to have the same spring load. So i guess its probably just some manufacturing variations for certain batches.
Eric,
ReplyDeleteBlue Longshots have been sold out in dept stores a long time ago, they are no longer available in stores.
The only way to get Blue Longshots nowadays is to order from existing owners on auction sites like eBay or at the various Nerf forums trading sections.
wanna-be,
ReplyDeleteIf you are in Singapore and want a Longshot, better get one now while stocks last.
thats not what I meant, I mwas asking wheather nerf manufacture longshots(of any colour) anymore.
ReplyDeleteok...thx
ReplyDeletecan i know whr can buy blue longshot at malaysia, because i am in malaysia now.
wanna-be,
ReplyDeleteWell, various industry sources have hinted that they are currently out-of-production, so it looks like they will be getting more and more rare as time goes by.
Eric,
ReplyDeleteI've not heard of anymore Blue Longshots available at stores in M'sia either.
Nowadays, Blue Longshots are very rarely seen (if ever) on any dept store shelves around the world. They were replaced by the newer Yellow Longshot a while back.
why so many people like blue longshot?and yellow longshot just a bit people like only?
ReplyDeletedo you think i can reserve blue longshot at other country?
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteI guess people like Blue Longshots because they are in Blue colour? At least thats why i like them. :)
Whether you can even find a brand new Blue Longshot in other countries depends on your luck, you'll have to search around.
sgnerf, wat place do you think more blue longshot?
ReplyDeleteI just got my longshot as a Christmas Present. I bought mine at Toys R Us Suntec. Theres quite alot of them so it shouldnt run out of stock for awhile.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas everyone!
Eric,
ReplyDeleteI have no idea where you can get a brand new Blue Longshot nowadays, as far as i know, they have not been spotted at dept stores for a long time.
Your best bet is to buy over from existing owners of Blue Longshots who are willing to sell their units.
How much do the re stocked longshots cost? And vulcans in india cost 1200 rupees (that's about 35 SGD$)
ReplyDeletewhat a waste! i went to the TRU at paragon and bought an element but didn't go down to metro a few storeys below it. which scope is better? the longshot one or element one? can the longshot one zoom?
ReplyDeletetry ebay, search longshot blue, and you will find one, I did (it was new in box)
ReplyDeleteSRSR333,
ReplyDeleteSame as before, retail price is SGD$79.90.
Adil,
ReplyDeleteBoth the Longshot and Element scopes are just hollow plastic tubes, no magnification function, they are just mainly for display purposes.
why blue longshot so difficult to find?
ReplyDeletesome people say can try ebay, can it work?
u think i can buy blue longshot at toy r us in malaysia or not?
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteBlue Longshots are the old models, they are out-of-production.
From what i've heard, Blue Longshots are also all sold out and no longer available in M'sia dept stores for quite a while already.
o....i wish can find blue longshot.
ReplyDeleteTo my knowledge, Yellow Longshots are out of production as well. The stock is just remaining stock and after it's gone, it'll be gone forever.
ReplyDeleteThey will never make Clear Longshots because the clear series is fairly new and I beleive it was introduced after the Longshot went out of production.
I think a clear LS would be legendary, but I can only dream..
hey people i saw ONE blue longshot at a shopping centre near the federal hotel at malaysia, but i think it is sold out already
ReplyDeletesgnerf, if i try ebay, i need to search wat and choose which one?
ReplyDeletecan i easy find recon cs 6 in m'sia?
So...many... comments!
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteJust type in the name of whatever blaster you want to find at the eBay search box... and please stop asking all these silly questions.
Yes, Nerf Recons should still be easy to find in M'sia stores.
i go hasbro.com and i just know is that have a tactical scope can zoom in?
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteSo far, there are no N-Strike scopes from Nerf that have zoom function.
Hey Sg Nerf, something happened to my longshot, the bolt can't be pulled back any more? And therefore, I can't shoot? Why did this happen? Any idea?
ReplyDeleteDear SGNERF,
ReplyDeleteHello I'm a 12 year old boy and was wondering if you had any ideas on how to mod a nerf streamline dart? My Streamlines always curve off to the side! Any Ideas?
, Nickonator
P.S. I am sick at home with strep throat!
Jason Snafu Yap,
ReplyDeleteSomething is probably bent or mis-aligned inside the Longshot, you could open it up to troubleshoot the problem.
Otherwise, just return it to the store and exchange for a new working unit.
Nick,
ReplyDeleteNerf streamline foam darts are naturally unbalanced and inconsistent. Even after being modded, they are still inaccurate.
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to improve their accuracy.
Check the NerfSG forum, there are lots of discussions there on other alternative foam darts which have much better accuracy and more consistent performance.
Hi SgNerf,
ReplyDeleteDo you think by any chance they still sell the longshot??
Irsyad,
ReplyDeleteLast i saw a week ago there are no more stock at Metro Paragon branch, i guess you'll have to shop around at other stores to find them.
hello, I'm from Brazil, my name is Matheus and I spent two days looking at sites behind the toys nerf longshot, but not found anything, they still produce the longshots if so in what store or website I can find it there, thank you.
ReplyDeleteMatheus,
ReplyDeleteLongshots are getting more and more rare nowadays.
I guess you could try Amazon.com or eBay.com to purchase new or 2nd hand Longshots.
How much does it cost?
ReplyDeletexianzheng,
ReplyDeleteIn Singapore, the Nerf Longshot retails at SGD$79.90.
by any chance where can I get the Longshot CS-6 ? still available? price? thanks in advance!
ReplyDeletemedicom06,
ReplyDeleteNerf Longshots retail at SGD$79.90 locally, but It seems that last batch has all already been sold out. You could still check at the various stores to try to find them, might get lucky.
Alternatively, check at the NerfSG forum trading section to find local enthusiasts who may have spare sets available for sale.
Hey sg nerf! Do you know where i might find a nerf longshot in singapore? pls!! i need soo badly..
ReplyDeleteAmirul,
ReplyDeleteNerf Longshots are now all sold out in Singapore.
As mentioned in my previous comments, check at the NerfSG forum trading section to find local enthusiasts who may have spare sets available for sale.
Hey SgNerf, I've seen you around on some forums, big fan.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you that I just can't find an answer to. In a recent game, my nerf longshot's plunger chamber broke, and I have no idea how to fix it. Tried searching for your email address but I couldn't find one on your blog. Anyway, think you can help me out? Pic link below

desi_drifter395,
ReplyDeleteYou could try using 2-part epoxy glue (get the highest bond strength you can find) to glue back all the pieces, let it cure fully before trying it out again.
If the re-glued parts still cannot hold up, then you'll just have to buy a new Longshot.
now in Singapore have longshot cs-6(yellow)?if have at where to buy?i am hungry for it!!!
ReplyDeletebunnyboy,
ReplyDeleteNerf Longshots are now all sold out in Singapore.
where can i buy longshot and longstrike??
ReplyDeletekingkazma,
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned in previous comments, Nerf Longshots are now all sold out in Singapore.
Nerf Longstrikes are still currently available at most major dept stores though.
are there any longshot in singapore?
ReplyDeleteGalen,
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned a few times in previous comments, Nerf Longshots are now all sold out in Singapore.
Where can I buy nerf longshot clip in Singapore ?
ReplyDeleteGalen,
ReplyDeleteYou can get extra 6-dart N-Strike Clips from the Nerf Flip Clip Set, the Nerf Bandolier Set or the Nerf Tactical Vest Set.
Those sets are currently still available at dept stores in Singapore.
Is longshot available now??
ReplyDeleteSG Nerf, but when its already out of stock can i order it from the store that sells nerf indivitually.
ReplyDeleteJordan,
ReplyDeleteNo idea, just check with the stores directly about it.
Hey sg nerf I just spotted 8 yellow nerf longshots! In tampinese yesterday.
ReplyDeleteBut my question is that should I get a nitron or stampede. I was also thinking of a longshot as I already have a raider which is 4 close combat so 4 for long range which is best? I will not mod them as I destroyed my old maverick so i'll keep it at stock. Price is not an issue. It also needs to be easily maneuverable. And is the 20 foam disc clip which comes with the nitron sold separately. The most important criteria is that it should hurt. Sry 4 all these questions but it will be super if u help. Thanks in advance :) u rule!
karthik,
ReplyDeleteYup, the Nerf Yellow Longshots are back in stock for a limited time now.
As for the Nitron or Stampede, although they have similar full-auto firing capabilities and both are large-sized blasters, they both operate via different systems.
The Stampede is a N-Strike foam dart blaster therefore its foam dart ammo, clips and accessories are all compatible with other N-Strike blasters. In addition, it uses a motorized spring powered direct plunger system, which can have good RoF and range improvements after modifications. Note that in stock condition, its range isn't much different from other stock N-Strike blasters.
The Nitron is a Vortex foam disc blaster, so its ammo and clips are not compatible with the rest of the N-Strike blaster (thats something to consider), though it can still use accessories for N-Strike tactical rails. It uses a motorized flywheel system, which generates good stock ranges with the foam disc design (can be improved further if voltage modded), but the buzzing flywheel noise can be quite annoying to some users.
The Vortex disc clips are not available separately in Singapore, you'll have to get them on your own from online or overseas.
If you are just keeping them stock only and you just want longer stock range, then you could go for the Nitron. But note that although the Nitron has longer stock range, the disc velocity is still around the same as a foam dart from a stock Nerf blaster, so the shot travels slower in comparison over the equivalent distance... quite easy to dodge. :)
Dude, can u recommend me some sniper blasters except longshot and longstrike. It can be other brands but can find in singapore. Iam getting one for my friend. One that has scope.
ReplyDeleteDylan,
ReplyDeleteSo far, only the Longshot comes packaged with a "scope" (which is basically just a hollow plastic tube)... the Longstrike only has a flip-up sight.
Those are the only 2 blasters that have the "sniper" style blaster design in the current Nerf model range.
When does it come?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteThey are all completely sold out now.
My frien said it is coming again thi year at april. Is that true
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteNo idea, i guess you could wait and see.
