Sneak peek of the Nerf N-Strike Elite Hailfire...

Is that an "accelerator trigger" below the main trigger?

Another flywheel blaster!?!

  1. If it wasn't quite so obviously a single-barreled blaster, I'd say barrel spin.

  2. Well if the Hailfire is a flywheel blaster, I hope they at least make it as quiet as the Rayven. I'm obviously going to rename mine the Hellfire!

  3. now maybe nerf will make more flywheel blasters....

  4. Who knows, maybe it's a compressor instead of a flywheel. Or maybe it works like the stampede and that's just in place of a switch to turn it on.

  5. I didn't notice that. And look at the front of the pic. It looks like either an 18 dart clip or a new drum. I am really gonna have to start saving money right now. So much blaster goodness!

    1. Looks like a flipping huge drum, look how the bit above the orange bit is very curved, surrounding it. Looks very similar to the Pyragon drum. Maybe it's like a vertical drum full of four 12-round stacks of darts? Like how the Pyragon drum is assumed to be a vertical rotating set of four 10-disc magazines. Well this will offer the Powerstrike 48 some challenge regardless.

  6. I'm pretty excited about these new releases, but I am getting fed up with all of the colour changes, as well as Praxis look-a-likes. I'm also not exactly thrilled that it's running on flywheels.

  7. Ok from what jerm said, its stampedeish looking and has 4 receivers on it. So its massive, and my guess for its powersource is flywheel(Rayven), plunger(Stampede), or a new air mech where the bottom trigger activates an air compressor. if its flywheel, i'm passing.

  8. Why hasn't anyone given us a drawn description of the blaster?

  10. Based on the new pictures I would say it looks like it is flywheel based and holds 4 12 dart clips and has some way to rotate them. Other than that I would say it works like an over sized rayven, so why get it when they would be the same but the rayven is less bulky
