  3. The Stampede is now available in certain wal-mart locations in Canada. I picked one up :D. Also SGnerf I don't know if you noticed but on the Stampede's 18 dart mag there is rubber on ethier side on the bottom of it. I guess it's for protection.

  14. HEY SGNERF!
    1 important thing!!
I hate to get fake blasters.what I mean By fake is that The blasters do not have their name on it like the blasters realsed in china.
So since you bought a stampede, IS IT FAKE OR REAL? thx for answering.

  15. rubesh's nerf,

The Nerf Stampedes available now in dept stores are the official production models with the "Stampede ECS" lettering embossed in black on the sides of the blaster.

Just to clarify, the pre-release Stampede sets also have the "Stampede ECS" lettering embossed on the sides, but just not in black letters.

  19. LOH WEI JIE,

So far, i've not spotted the Nerf Reflex IX-1 available as a stand-alone blaster in local dept stores.

But you can get a pair of Reflex IX-1 blasters in the Nerf Tech Target set that is currently available at dept stores.

Here is a review of it:

  20. LOH WEI JIE, the reflex comes in a six-pack (at least here in the states) I'd recommend getting a couple friends to chip in and split a set. That is, if you just want the guns. The set is $31 USD at Toys'r'us, so it comes to be $5 a piece, which is not bad for this stealthy addition to your arsenal.

  23. NerfFan98,

Yup, there was a special promo at Takashimaya only for the weekend, but all the Stampede sets on that promo deal were snapped up within hours.

Btw, if you want to know of all the latest store discounts and promotions for Nerf blasters, check the NerfSG forum (www.nerfsg.com), the latest news are all posted and discussed there.

  25. do you find that the first few darts fire short, but the more you shoot the farther they go? I just the the a.r. out and thats it because I dont want to put too much pressure on the motor but the more I shoot, the more consistant the darts fly.

  26. mldpreach,

With a stock working Nerf Stampede, all the streamline darts should fire out with relatively equal power and distance.

If you find that some shots have less range than others, it could be due to streamline darts that have inconsistent fit in the Stampede's bolt, so when it chambers those streamline darts the air seal is not optimal.

Test fire your streamline darts and separate the good ones from the not-so-good ones, and just use the good ones. That might be the solution.

  27. is the stampede worth it? money wise. i was thinking about buying one, but im not sure if it's worth the $100 or so. So, is it really worth it?

    Thanks
    Marcus

  28. Marcus7,

Yes, i would rate the Nerf Stampede as one of the best new blasters released over the past few years.

As Nerf's first fully automatic clip-fed blaster, it offers features and capabilities previously unheard of in other Nerf blasters.

In short, just get it. :)

  29. hey SG Nerf,

what are your thoughts on which stock gun is best suited for indoor wars. These wars are normally 1 v 1, deathmatch style. The nerfer that i have these wars against uses a modded (ar, better spring mods) recon, with 2 six dart clips. The war is usaully in a 2 story house, with plenty of cover.

I need a gun that can counter-attack my friends gun.
Any of your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

(P.S: My friend is kinda a camper, and i sorta a rush player.)

    Thanks,
    Marcus7

  30. Marcus7,

Just get a Nerf Stampede... better yet get two, 'cos your friend will get quite tired of losing every game round to a constant barrage of foam darts. :)

  31. Do you guys mind if I post my views on it? It's pretty negative.

I went to takashimaya to try out the gun today. It was a newly opened gun and frankly speaking, the bullet launch were inconsistent and it jams frequently. It's not worth the 109 bucks.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ng YK,

It looks like the Nerf Stampede you tried out happened to be a faulty set, it depends on luck.

The majority of new sets i have gotten and tested fire consistently and don't jam. Those odd sets that are faulty out of the box, i simply exchange for a new working set.

My experience with using multiple sets of Stampedes have been positive so far, even under heavy game usage.

  33. uh sgnerf do you know when is the realease of the stampede on philippines and do you know where to buy the tacticle vest and extra 6 dart clips i live in the philippines

  34. 9.9.10 is here! Time for everyone to go out, get a Stampede ECS and demolish the competion in Nerf Wars!

    ReplyDelete
  35. maninacloset,

I've no idea of the Nerf stock availability in the Philipines, perhaps you could check with the major dept stores around your area for more info.

  36. I want to buy the Stampede ECS but I'm scared if I got the faulty one. So, is the nerf Stampede faulty unit often be found?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anonymous,

Most of the units work perfectly... from my experience, only a very small percentage might be faulty (same chances as most Nerf blasters), i guess it just depends on your luck.

Just keep the receipt so that if you do encounter a faulty unit, you can exchange it at the store for a new one (make sure the store has an exchange policy too).

    1. Shogun,

Nerf Stampedes are currently sold out locally, you'll have to get them from overseas or order in from online stores.
