I can't really get on board with this. What's the point?
ReplyDeleteThe Vulcan looks so weird in clear green o.O
ReplyDeleteClear Series- super unique looking blasters that you may or not use because they look special.
ReplyDeleteSonic Series- blind your opponents with your blasters in the light to avoid wasting ammo.
Very interesting move to produce these. All same as clear ones except the Vulcan replaced the Raider. Guess I'll have to get one.
I think Hasbro/Nerf is just trying to fleece consumers with minimal to none of the R&D involved in making new blasters... Just my two cents
ReplyDeleteThe Vulcan and Maverick look cool. I don't much care for the others though.
ReplyDeleteSee i love the green, but orange? why cant nerf use like green parts or black parts to go with the green>
ReplyDeletei......like....GREEEEEN!!!!!
ReplyDeleteUgh. Terrible.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna be broke........
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what is "sonic" about them?
ReplyDeleteokay, i'm detecting the pattern, the last time nerf guns like this came out (i.e. the "clear the way" set) it led to the arrival of a new nerf gun, so, based on that theory, this new "sonic series" will probably do the same, possibly with the gun which is in the post above this one.
ReplyDeleteMeh, these transparent copies do nothing for me. Most of the guns I have I paint over anyways (...well I plan to at some point).
ReplyDelete@dasnerfer- They keep the orange to keep from getting sued when some kid manages to spook some cop. I usually avoid painting the orange bits for similar reasons.
the tip of the vulcan's barrel appears to be different. I wonder why they changed it?
ReplyDeleteWho looks at a Nerf gun and says "This could be a little more Sonic" ???
ReplyDeleteDoctor Who, obviously...
DeleteNot really so ya
DeleteSaw the Recon Sonic Series at my local TRU yesterday, so it looks like they're about to be upon us (at least in the U.S.)
ReplyDeleteSgNerf, what do you think about the sonic series?
ReplyDeletejwarriorb7,
ReplyDeleteWell, i guess they are basically colour variants of the clear series blasters. It'll appeal to those who like the colour scheme and collectors who want to collect the full range of Nerf blasters.
when will these be coming out?
ReplyDeleteIs the raider going to be in the sonic series? anybody know? i know it was not on the web site.
ReplyDeletefound the sonic series vulcan maverick and Nightfinder at TRU here in Canada.
ReplyDeleteI have found all of these and maybe the raider (been a few weeks) at toys r us in the us so they are out.
ReplyDeleteu got the re con cs 6 no clear or not?
