I managed to get hold of a Nerf Sonic Series Maverick REV-6 on a recent trip overseas, so here are some photos of it.
The Sonic Series Maverick has basically the same design and mechanisms as the other Nerf Maverick variants, except that it has a translucent green colored casing.

You mean the mod site on the screen when its scrolling up? If yes, then gratz!
ReplyDeleteHey SG Nerf, I dunno where to post this but, what is your occupation? I mean who finds so much time to get updated on Nerf products and can get the money to order it from overseas?
ReplyDeleteWhat are the diferences of it compared with the other desings apart from the color??
ReplyDeletejwarriorb7,
ReplyDeleteLike i mentioned in my reviews, they are all basically the same except for the colors of their casings.
But if I were you, I'll pick the original yellow one. The clears are harder to prime.
ReplyDeleteSG Nerf
ReplyDeleteDo you know if the sonic series will serve a point as did the "clear the way" series clearing the way for the Stampede. Would you mind if I put a link to your site on mine?
nerfboyz,
ReplyDeleteSo far, there isn't any official announcement by Nerf on any specific product campaign for the "Sonic Series" blasters.
I guess at this point in time they are just a new series of Nerf blaster variants.
Yes, you're welcomed to link to my site.
I have checked 3 Toys R Us near me in NY and can't find any Sonic Series guns, yet all the blogs seemed to have have them. What states are these being found in? I am actually looking for a Maverick (some of the other Sonic guns are just 'too much' and the Mav is one of my faves)
ReplyDeletesgnerf, then malaysia can buy maverick or not?
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteSure, Nerf Mavericks are easily found at most dept stores.
Not sure if you guys have seen this yet, but the have recons, vulcans, deploys and of course mavericks.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to tell you guys
ive been wondering if you sg have ever put the cylender of one mavrick into another?
ReplyDeleteAd man,
ReplyDeleteYes, it's quite easy to open their casings and swap the turrets between different Maverick variants, their parts all have the same fit.
my friend said that the sonics are available in AU.is this true?
ReplyDeleteAdil,
ReplyDeleteYes, apparently the Sonic Series blasters are available at some stores in Australia.
What series is the nerf gun in the top right of the third picture???
ReplyDeleteStevie,
ReplyDeleteIts the blue/yellow color scheme of the 1st generation Nerf Mavericks when they were first launched many years ago.
I heard some of the colour schemes are stronger (firing the gun) as in the darts go further is this true and if it is is the sonic mav any different two the yellow? (other than colour?)
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteGenerally they all have similar performance, +/- a few feet... it actually depends on the individual blaster, sometimes there are slight production variations between units even within the same series.
between the normal maverick and the sonic series maverick...which has the better ranges...
ReplyDeleteand which type of mavericks do they still sell in SG?
eg:(sonic,clear,whiteout)
~Maxhardy~,
DeleteOn average both have similar ranges... any +/- few ft range difference spotted is just due to the usual manufacturing variations between individual units.
Currently only the normal Mavericks are available in Singapore, all the other versions seem to be sold out already.
Sg nerf how much does the nerf maverick sonic edition usually cost
