  1. If I could, I would raid that whole booth... Bur I would leave the sport items as I won't need them.

  2. When are the Tactical vest and pouches (far right) going to be on sale in the US?

  3. No info on release dates for the Nerf Tactical Vest or Pouches yet... i guess we'll just have to keep a lookout for their appearance on store shelves soon. :)

  6. Cool. plz post any new info on the 9-9-10 nerf gun. I can't wait!

  7. Two questions for you: 1, What do you think the 9/9/10 blaster is like, and 2, why the heck would you want "cammo ammo", they would be easier to lose.

P.S. Ill probably have more questions.

  8. Jess,

If you check around the various Nerf forums, there are lots of hints posted on the upcoming 9.9.10 blaster.

Just a head-start on your info search, the model is called the Nerf Big Blast.

Keep a lookout for more confirmed information avaliable for that blaster.

All i can comment about camouflaged coloured foam darts is that anyone who uses them in outdoor Nerf games shouldn't complain about losing more their darts. :)

  9. Where should i look?

  11. I really want to get this gun, but i hope is note another vulcan, what do you think??? I was thinking it might be a spartan.

On the description it said it is a auto gun that can fire 50 darts before having to load, needs 6 D batteries

  12. Jess,

Well, not much point speculating on it at the moment, its best to just keep a look out for more confirmed information on the upcoming blaster popping up soon. :)

  13. Is there any way you can get it before it comes out?

Is the Deploy worth the money?

Is the rapid fire 20 worth it for my friend? He loves to run around and shoot like crazy, thats why he has the magstrike, but its like one unbeatable shot, then you got to pump it a lot, and you can't just fire one at a time.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jess,

Well, i wish i could... but reality is, just like everyone else, i also get new blasters only once they appear in stores. :)

The Deploy is basically a variation of the Recon, featuring a pump-action front grip and "deploy" feature. I guess it'll appeal to nerfers who like the design.

The Rapid Fire 20 is popular with nerfers who like high RoF blasters, sounds like your friend's gameplay style suits it well. :)

  15. yeah, one thing that sucks, is that his magstrike only came with one clip. :'( And, if you could fire one at a time it could be a defense weapon, as well as a crazy invador's minigun.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Jess,

Well, the Magstrike can fire in burst-fire mode, simply pull the trigger briefly under control, so it only fires in bursts of 2-3 shots.

Most nerf players usually get the Dart Tag versions of the Magstrike which comes with 2 clips (and purchase more from others), and do mods to enable the Magstrikes to fire more clips in-between pump ups.

  17. I was wondering if i should get the dart tag set ($44) that comes with two furyfires, ammo, two dart tag vest thingys, two sets of glasses, and the electronic flag. Or should i spend $34 and get the longstrike?

    ReplyDelete
  18. oh, or the vulcan, for $39.99

    ReplyDelete
  19. Jess,

The Furyfire 2-player set with the electronic flag would be ideal if you are looking to play Dart Tag Capture-The-Flag (CTF) games.

The Longstrike is basically a Recon in a different casing design. Most people get the Longstrike mainly for its design.

If you want a fully-automatic motor driven belt-fed blaster, then the Vulcan is the blaster to get. :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. yeah, prob not the longstrike, and prob not the vulcan, but the set looks good because my friends love that kind of thing. P.S. My nerf war was very fun.

  21. oh COOL!

Go to youtube and watch nerf guns of 2010 by starbuddy132

P.S. read the captions he wrote!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Jess,

Well, the videos just show screen captures from the Nerf N-Strike Wii game. The majority of those models are just concept "virtual" blasters for the game.

Imho, that youtuber definitely needs to get some spell checking done on his video captions. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. err, what i ment was he works for nerf and apparently they are making prototypes of those blaster at this very moment, and i thing the nerf big blast could be the semberfire. He said it didn't have 200 rounds, but it has a lot. and it is full auto.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jess,

Prototypes and design concepts are one thing, but actual production model info are what you should look at.

There are plenty of chaps online claiming to be working for Nerf but are actually just kids with grand imaginations.

Its okay to check out what others speculate about on upcoming product releases, but do take such info posted with a pinch of salt.

Imho, until a new blaster is officially announced by Nerf, it'll still remain as pure speculation. :)

  27. hey do u know the releases date for the deploy in new zealand?

    ReplyDelete
  28. FlightSimNZ,

I've no idea of the Deploy availability in NZ.

Perhaps you can just give a call to the Hasbro office in NZ to check with them on it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. I got an email from nerf about the 9-9-10 blaster, It is called the fast blast.I know there already is one but it's true.

  30. Um I saw an advert a while back, there was this disk launching target thing, it basically fired disks into the air and the objective was to hit those disks with your darts, any ideas? Btw I'm not talking about nerf vortex.
