Quite unlikely, the blue Pinpoint Sights have only been available as a promotional gift item with minimum purchase deal at local stores... they have not been sold separately so far.
From experiences over the previous years, the Hasbro warehouse sale in Singapore is mainly an event to sell older toys in as-is condition (majority are returned, damaged or partial content stock) at deeply discounted clearance prices, most Nerf enthusiasts would usually go there to hunt for cheap blasters and accessories to harvest parts or fix them up for their modding projects. :)
I didn't go to the event this time round, too busy with other things... but from past experience at hasbro warehouse sales, you have to be there very early or else most of the good stuff would already be swept up by the hardcore enthusiasts. :)
Hey SG nerf :)!! i recently got the Centurion so i have pics of it in my blog at http://randomspace-productions.blogspot.sg/ take a look if you like ^^haha thanks !! I'm local too BTW XD
Hi SG Nerf, I have some pics of the Sonic Ice Retaliator and Elite Rampage that I snapped from Toys R Us during a recent trip to KL. How can I pass them to you so that you can share it with other fellow Nerf enthusiasts?
If comparing between those 2 blasters only... i would choose the Nerf Rampage, as it has higher ammo capacity, pump action priming grip and slam-fire mode.
The bandolier kit is useful if you use the strap as a blaster sling, otherwise you could also get the vest which can hold some extra clips and ammo. Its all up to your personal preference.
Both are not really necessary anyways, you can get the same usage from some waist pouches, large pockets or straps from sports bags.
Btw, for fair play, wouldn't a competition dictate standard equipment and blasters for all players? :)
Longshots have been sold out at stores and are no longer in production.
Nowadays, you'll have to either check online auction sites like eBay or at the local Nerf forum (www.nerfsg.com) to find other enthusiasts who may have spare or 2nd hand sets for sale.
Its possible, but do keep the receipt of purchase as customs may ask for it to verify value (mainly for GST/taxation purposes) if they do a baggage search.
Hi all, from the price list i compare, its cheaper in toys r us JB eg the starter pack for 2 players is RM160 while in SG is SGD100 . Got a good deal in tesco jb m praxia for rm60 while toys r us jb selling at rm140.
Where can I find aftermarket Nerf darts? Do they sell them in the United States?
ReplyDeleteDavid,
DeleteYou'll have to check at the various Nerf forums trading sections to find makers and sellers of aftermarket foam darts.
Alternatively, you could also just get suitable foam tube/rod and tip materials from hardware stores to custom make your own versions.
SG do you know if there will be any EPPS on sale here?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
