Imho, the exterior shell design and clear clips are a very nice touch... though with the "acceleration trigger", it looks like this is yet another flywheel blaster.

  1. Why oh why have they made another FLYWHEEL! It's probably all about the reduced production cost for them, but really?!?

    1. That might be, but the gun itself is fully automatic. It is like the nitron in a way, but doesnt shoot discs.

  2. I personally can't wait for this, I love the Stryfe and this will be even better! The aesthetics on this blaster are incredible!

  3. From all that we have heard, even though it is a flywheel blaster it should be better in every way than the stampede,
    it has no bolt,
    gets better range,
    fires faster,
    lighter,
    smaller,
and as it self cheaper but the stampede came with a lot.

  4. All i could say is WOW............just WOW......... A new remake elite version of a stampede

  5. SGnerf 3 questions:
    1. How much is it
    2. How many clips are included
    3. Please rate the blaster in the rate of 1-10
    Thank you.

    1. marco santos,

No confirmed info on the first 2 questions yet, so far all i've seen are just these box photos too.

Personally, i'd rate it an 8/10, i think the exterior design looks great... but i'm not really a fan of flywheel blasters (its just a personal user preference), hence falling abit short of the perfect 10/10 for me. :)

    2. There actually is an answer to the second question, if you look carefully you can see under the thing talking about the 18-dart clip they have a description of what it comes with, it says that it comes with the blaster, one clip and 18 darts.

So only one clip is included.

    3. From an unbiased POV, flywheel blasters can perform as well as plunger-based systems, and IMO more readily mod-able than the Stampede system. I never attempted to mod a Stampede myself, but as far as I know the motorization hinders the practicality of modding them, however flywheel blasters have there own bits that can be changed.

    4. is it just me or is the rough cut in the 3rd picture green?

  6. As I first thought this blaster will be great for making a M41A pulse rifle. The only issue is the battery compartment being under the barrel which probably can be wired up else where to another power source.

    1. my thoughts exactly when I first saw it on YouTube. I love aliens and I think this blaster would be great for roleplaying

I have a friend who loves avp and I cant wait to show this blaster to him

as for the fly wheel system (which I am normally not a big fan of) I will forgive this blaster 'cause it just looks so friggin' cool!

  7. NO-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T WANT ANOTHER FLYWHEEL RESHELL OF A BARRICADE/RAYVEN/STOCKADE /STRYFE/ETC. Look, I'm all about what Hasbro is trying to do with the new line from both the demographic and financially feasible sense, but I really was hoping for a non-flywheel based automatic. It would save me both time and money. All this being said, I totally appreciate Nerf putting out all of these innovative products and doing so on such timely basis. They are really hitting the market like a beast. Still, instead of investing some $$$ in new full-auto blasters, it looks like I'll be investing $$$ and effort in some brass and free-time spent pouring over Modworks brilliant Stampede mod guides. Not a bad consolation, but certainly not what I'd been hoping for. But no worries, Hasbro. I'll still be holding back some cash for the mythological Mega Centurion. (P.S. Thanks for the post, SGNerf! :) It's always good to see your posts!)

    1. This is flywheel, but it isn't "ANOTHER FLYWHEEL RESHELL OF A BARRICADE/RAYVEN/STOCKADE/STRYFE/ETC." for one simple reason. This is the Elite version of the Nitron.
That means this is full-auto. This is the 5th full-auto blaster. (the other four being the Vulcan, Stampede, Swarmfire, and Nitron.)

      I'm gettin' it!!!

  8. Do we have a confirmation of full-auto? I'd hate to find out that this is just a Stryfe in a shiny shell.

Granted, that shell is very, very nice, and I love that stock. I might have to buy two and put the stock on a standard N-Strike mount.

    1. It is stated on the box that it is rapid-fire. They usually say semi-auto when using dart pushers. Thank goodness.
