The Deploy is around the same size as a Recon, just with an extendable shoulder stock.
Yes, i have some information on the 9.9.10 blaster, but to avoid speculation, i'm not at the liberty to post anything on my blog until there is an official announcement of it by Nerf. :)
Both the Recon and Deploy have similiar firing mechanisms, so i guess your choice would depend on whether you prefer a blaster with a slide priming system that has modular components (Recon) or a blaster with a pump priming system that can "transform" (Deploy).
Yup, i'll check out the Vision Gear Sets when they become avaliable in Singapore.
As for the Clear Blaster range, they have been announced to be released over the next few months, probably at different timings for various country markets, so I guess we'll just have to keep a look out for them appearing in stores soon. :)
I got mine in late February here in the US, and I've seen them at Target, WALMART and TRU, so they're out there. I like it alot, it has a much more natural feel than the Recon.
Hey guys.. I just email if i wanna mod my Raider at Black Technology at Bedok . And they say AR removal and replacing the Aftermarket spring costs $35 . So , if you are worried to mod on your own, you can ask them to mod it for ya . (: Btw, SGnerf, if i replace my spring with the aftermarket spring.. Will it be even harder to slam-fire it? Thx .. And i asked this question before, but i dont understand what you mean . Thx!
Well, it all depends on how strong the the aftermarket spring is, and more importantly your own personal physical strength.
It'll be best to test out a blaster which has the same aftermarket spring, just to make sure you are comfortable with priming it.
Perhaps you can join the Nerf games organised by NerfSG members too, lots of opportunities to see the different blaster mods and spring setups at those games. :)
Is there another way of destroying the Air Restrictor? Other than drilling, putting it inside the hot water or the Pipe cutter method. Thx for the help. (:
Yup, the clear Mavericks, along with all the other clear Nerf blaster special range are slated to be arriving in local stores over the next few months.
I don't have any confirmed dates of stock avaliability at the moment though.
When they appear in store shelves, i'll definitely be posting the info on this blog! :)
Longshots are no more available in local dept stores and it is now an out-of-production model.
You might still be able to get Longshots from overseas stores, or just check the NerfSG forum (www.nerfsg.com) trading section and find local sellers who may have Longshots for sale.
The Deploy is abit more complex mechanically due to its flip-open feature... but otherwise its performance is pretty much the same as the other reverse plunger blasters like the Recon or Longstrike.
Personally, i would prefer the Swarmfire as it can fire in full auto, no need to prime it to fire. :)
Nice, can't wait to see these in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteAre you really sure its out?
ReplyDeletesweet! it should take a few weeks is my guess, since it took the longstrike a few weeks to go to toys r us in the us
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Nice.. Thanks for the update! Did not see it at Taka today..
ReplyDeletewhere can u find it what are the department stores which u could find this
ReplyDeleteJust check around, the Deploys should be avaliable at most major dept stores locally by now.
ReplyDeletei think my sister in law went 2 2 place 2 look 4 it, but no 1 heard about it. 1 is carrefour & another 1 i can't recall.
ReplyDeleteI am damn sure TRU at VIVO don't have...
ReplyDeleteIf you guys go to a particular store and its not on display yet, then that store probably has not received the stock yet.
ReplyDeleteIf you guys can't wait, just go to OG Albert Complex... there are stacks of Deploy boxes on display there.
Can you post a size comparison of the Deply to the Recon? And do you know anything about Nerf's new release on 9/9/10?
ReplyDeleteThe Deploy is around the same size as a Recon, just with an extendable shoulder stock.
ReplyDeleteYes, i have some information on the 9.9.10 blaster, but to avoid speculation, i'm not at the liberty to post anything on my blog until there is an official announcement of it by Nerf. :)
what should i buy? a deploy or a recon?
ReplyDeleteEVIL muahahaha,
ReplyDeleteBoth the Recon and Deploy have similiar firing mechanisms, so i guess your choice would depend on whether you prefer a blaster with a slide priming system that has modular components (Recon) or a blaster with a pump priming system that can "transform" (Deploy).
can you do reviews of the n-force melee line?
ReplyDeletejsolomon,
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely be keen to do reviews of the N-force melee range... but they are currently not avaliable in Singapore stores at the moment.
Care to send over a few sets? :)
Just kidding, hopefully when (and if) they are avaliable in local stores or i manage to get a hold of some, i'll definitely do a review.
Hey SG,
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you've heard, but the Vision gear kit is out in toy stores in Canada. It includes the eyewear and some tagger darts.
If you get them in Signapore, can you do a review? thanks
Hey SG,
ReplyDeleteDo you know when the clear version of the Nite Finder, Recon, Raider, or Deploy are coming out?
Thanks
Gartha Theblu,
ReplyDeleteYup, i'll check out the Vision Gear Sets when they become avaliable in Singapore.
As for the Clear Blaster range, they have been announced to be released over the next few months, probably at different timings for various country markets, so I guess we'll just have to keep a look out for them appearing in stores soon. :)
The Deploy showed up in my town the other day, Only two were left. Looks like they're coming earlier than april
ReplyDeleteI got mine in late February here in the US, and I've seen them at Target, WALMART and TRU, so they're out there. I like it alot, it has a much more natural feel than the Recon.
ReplyDeleteThe nerf Clear Maverick is restocking, right? May I know when and where? Thx SGnerf.
ReplyDeleteEmman Shafiq,
ReplyDeleteThe upcoming clear blaster range have been announced to be released soon... so we'll just have to keep a lookout at stores for their appearance. :)
Where do we buy the Transparent Maverick's Micro Sonic Darts? The black colour ....
ReplyDeleteEmman Shafiq,
ReplyDeleteNerf sonic darts can be purchased in 16, 30 or 36 dart refill packs.
Refill packs are avaliable at most dept stores locally, you'll have to check around to see which stores have stock of the ones you are looking for.
Is there the Nerf Micro Sonic Darts, the black colour one at Tampines Mall and Century Square?
ReplyDeleteEmman Shafiq,
ReplyDeleteFor that, you'll have to check on your own, 'cos i don't go to those malls.
Perhaps you could also login to the NerfSG forum and check with the local forum members who are staying in that area too.

Is there another way of destroying the Air Restrictor? Other than drilling, putting it inside the hot water or the Pipe cutter method. Thx for the help. (:
ReplyDeleteEmman Shafiq,
ReplyDeleteI guess those are the 3 common methods to remove Air Restrictors.
Can't think of any other methods other than variations of those 3 methods.
Could we just put a long and thin screwdriver and put it through the AR and knock it out using a hammer? Thx again.
ReplyDeleteEmman Shafiq,
ReplyDeleteSure, you can use a screwdriver to knock out the AR, its basically similiar to drilling it out.
Just be very careful when you are doing it though, don't end up cracking the bolt in the process.
Will the clear maverick come soon or later? Pls don't say that we must keep a lookout for the clear maverick... Thx sgnerf.. (:
ReplyDeleteEmman Shafiq,
ReplyDeleteYup, the clear Mavericks, along with all the other clear Nerf blaster special range are slated to be arriving in local stores over the next few months.

So, it means that the transparent maverick coming on 9-9-10? Sorry for so many question... :(
ReplyDeleteEmman Shafiq,
ReplyDeleteYup, the clear blaster range (including the transparent Maverick) are slated to be arriving in Singapore dept stores before 9.9.10.
You can read the official Hasbro Singapore Press Release about it here:

Do You know a particular place that sells the NERF Longshot cs-6?

can you post a mavrick mod guide?
ReplyDeleteAd man,
ReplyDeleteI've no plans to post up a Nerf Maverick mod guide, perhaps you can check out the modding tutorials posted online by other Nerf modders.
Hey sg is there deploy at of complex? Witch u prefer, swarm fire or deploy pls reply
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,

Is deploy still on sale?
ReplyDeletekennise lee s x,
DeleteI've not seen them in stores for quite a while, probably all sold out by now... its considered an old model.
