Interestingly, it resembles the Spartan NCS-12 thats featured in the Wii Nerf N-Strike Game.
Is it a prototype? A final production model? or just a really good photochop? :)
Only time will tell... hopefully more information pops up about it.

Looks like a reshelled LONGSHOT, possibly more powerfull, and it is most likely not photoshopped.

ReplyDeleteYou should have mentioned that the clip in the blaster is an 18-dart clip, which has been seen before.
ReplyDeleteIMO the orange bit at the back of the stock looks removable, implying that batteries go in the stock.
I would love it if it is electric, and as powerful as the Vulcan (more would be nice, but that's not going to happen) because then I could put a couple of airsoft gun batteries in there and use a drum-mag with it :D

Emman, you mean it doesn't have a cocking mechanism unlike the vulcan and every other gun except as. the vulcan has the same piece as the ls this however doesn't have one. it maybe an electrical only.

ReplyDeleteAlso the bolt isn't usually exposed like that as it is in the pic so I would be inclined to think that there is actually a cover and cocking handle that should go over that section.
No mater what the power or priming method is, that thing is going to look SWEET with a nice paint job.
ReplyDeleteAfter looking more closely, I think that this may be a scam... I notice that there's no name on the blaster and the plunger (seen through the "window" on the blaster) is out of line with the clip. Also, the clip looks like a few clips fused together with a logo airbrushed on, and , knowing Nerf, they would probably use a drum magazine anyway. This, in my opinion, is probably a fake shell with a Longshot plunger and a modded clip for realism... you never know till it comes out, tho. ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like a prototype considering the quality of the plastic and the fact they threw tactical rails everywhere (Two on top, 1/2 on side and two on bottom). It's definetly going to be battery powered considering that long bulge running along the side on the stock. Also the clip slot looks unfinished for some reason...

I'm looking at my vulcan right now, and although it closely resembles it, its not a match.
And if you look closely, you can see a NERF logo and the N-Strike logo on the stock.

Most nerf guns have the name of it on the side with no screws and since this is the side with no screws, there should be a name, for example "Stampede ECS-50" but after enhancing the picture, and zooming in, i didn't see any name. Now why wouldn't they put the name of the gun but the logo? Suspense?

I messed up. The gun has the title of the gun on both sides. But yet still this Nerf gun has no name on the side.
ReplyDelete^^^^^I can't believe no one saw that before... holy cow. there's no doubt this is the 9.9.10 blaster. battery storage in the back, no priming handle (inserted, but no visible slot either), and its way to good lookin for a shop.

ReplyDeleteThose 18-dart clips pop up on ebay from time to time, usually for $50+. Not a photoshop, just probably a model someone leaked for some extra cash. It isn't finished cosmetically because of the missing Nerf branding on the side, but it's definitely real.

Check online to see this gun in action.. look for unreleased nerf guns 2010.. by nzgolem.. these kids got to saw the "fallen off truck" nerf guns
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if anyone has noticed but if you look at where the breach is you can make out some sort of rounded corner and it also looks like it lines up with the clip side and make no mistake we have seen these sort of clips before so I do reckon it will be coming out [also evidence is that the youtube video called "3 new nerf guns unreleased"]. I am really seriously excited
