ReplyDeleteTrue That man These pics alone make me want 2 buy this!
DeleteI want to buy this nerf gun but I can't find how and where
DeleteBen "pSyk" Koh,
ReplyDeleteYeah, the Whiteout Longstrike looks amazing! :)
drool... where the heck did this come from, none of the other sites have these and you just pop them up out of nowhere, i guess we now know when the epic maverick pocket found months ago will come and that it is indeed real, and finally they recolored the LSK not the recon, it is such a BEAST, i am so getting this.
ReplyDeleteI think I could get into this new color...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, very reminiscant of District 9.
ReplyDeleteAny ideas on availability in the UK?
Dave,
ReplyDeleteWell, i guess you could keep a lookout for them at your local toy stores... might pop up anytime. :)
OMG, WHAT A SURPRISE. DUDE, JUST, NO COMMENT
ReplyDeleteso.... SG, is this now your favorite blaster? lol, what is your favorite blaster?
ReplyDeleteharpuia,
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Nerf blaster is currently still the Stampede (because it suits my gameplay style perfectly)... but for display purposes, i personally think the Whiteout Longstrike has the coolest look so far. :)
If only Stampede had a Whiteout version...
ReplyDeleteIT WILL TOTALLY OWN NOOBS!!!
Do you have any clue if this is coming out in the states soon?
ReplyDeleteI can take your photos and put on my blog?
ReplyDeletenerfezao.blogspot.com
André Augusto,
ReplyDeleteYou may use some of the photos on your blog, just include credits and links credits to my SG Nerf blog site.
Is there any Discount for this blaster now..
ReplyDeletePlease i need to know..
then put your link as "partners", thank you
ReplyDeleteU seem very annoying-first you say ''I can take your photos'' not can I and then you demand ''partnership to sgnerf blog''yes Sir you seem very annoying indeed...
DeleteThree words.. WHITE OUT LS
ReplyDeleteWish they improved on it by making the stock removable and change the plunger to a straight, instead of a reverse. I would have bought it again if they did it!
ReplyDeletei just got the blue version. i should of waited for this to come out
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing these pics I have taken some white, orange, and metallic blue spray paint to my Stampede bi-pod. and I will be getting a Shot Blast scope to top it off. The final product will probably end up on display in my room so I can geek out over it every morning.
ReplyDeleteSG, you should take a picture of the ACOG scope from the white/black shotblast on the whiteout LSK.
ReplyDeletethis is awesome!!! I am going to get this and the whiteout series maverick with the stampede. I wish the stampede was in the whiteout series too it is my favourite nerf blaster
ReplyDeletewhich of the tactical vest or bandolier kit can hold the longstrike?
ReplyDeletestampede ECS,
ReplyDeleteOnly the Nerf bandolier strap can clip onto the Longstrike like a rifle sling.
I Just spotted a white out deploy on nerf wiki
ReplyDeletesee it at
"http://nerfnorthamerica.blogspot.com/"
I just saw it at Robinsons a few days ago! Good time to take advantage of the 20% discount for any would-be buyers :)
ReplyDeleteis it comeing out in australia if so were when a'm getting the maveric and the longstrike and i love the desighs here
ReplyDeletethomas,
ReplyDeleteI've no idea of the Nerf stock availability in Australia, perhaps you could just check directly with the dept stores around your area.
k tanks
ReplyDeleteyou are the best i'm from oz but still awsome
ReplyDeletei cant wait till it comes out in aus. i am a huge nerf fan and i have 36 guns if i can get this one i will have an awsome arsenal
ReplyDeleteIn my store here in aus I found a white night finder at big w in Sydney
ReplyDeleteInterested to see what the blast shield from the super soaker hydro canon would look like on this guy.
ReplyDeleteWhy do we heed to put the reloder thing ourself in the longstrike?
ReplyDeletenerf lover,
ReplyDeleteI guess it's to reduce the size of the box, helps to minimize shipping costs.
How can I enter the nerf tournament?
ReplyDeletenerf lover,
ReplyDeleteWell, when the official Nerf tournament is announced on websites and newspapers, then you sign up for it... though the 2011 tournament was just held in June, so i guess you'll have to wait next year and join the 2012 tournament.
If you're keen, you could also join the weekly Nerf games organized at the NerfSG forum (www.nerfsg.com), just check the "Nerf Wars/Upcoming Games" section for more details.
Can a child enter a nerf tournament ?
ReplyDeletenerf lover,
ReplyDeleteFor reference, read the info at the 2011 tournament's official website, all the details were listed there:
http://www.nerf2011.com.sg/nerf2011/tournament.asp
Is it ok if I use some your pictures?
ReplyDeleteJava Programmer,
ReplyDeleteYes, but please reference the source by including a credit and link to my blog site.
When will the white deploy be released?
ReplyDeleteJohn,
ReplyDeleteFrom what i've seen online, the Whiteout Deploy is available at Walmart stores in the States.
No idea if it would be available in Singapore though.
Jerm mentioned that some of the whiteout blasters performed better. Is this true for the longstrike even with the same internals?
ReplyDeletelongshot1012,
ReplyDeleteWell, i have tested multiple units of each Whiteout Series blaster model (i never base my tests on just one of each) and it still depends on the individual units. If you happen to get a unit that performs well, it doesn't mean all are the same.
Some do have slightly better performance out of the box... though i have also encountered some not-so-good "lemons" too (even amongst the same models).
The difference in range performance is just +/- a few ft anyways, the usual manufacturing variations in production batches.
I guess as with all Nerf blasters, it still depends on your luck. :)
Sgnerf where did you get your long strike whiteout
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteFrom dept stores in Singapore.
Sgnerf can you tell me which department store you got it from bcoz I couldn't find any thanks
ReplyDeleteSgnerf for the raider, is it possible to remove the lock? Or will it stop working?
ReplyDeleteFor the vortex guns does it hurt when someone shoots you at close range thks.
Yo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteJust visit the dept stores to check, i don't have the specific inventory lists of Nerf blasters in every dept store.
As for the Raider, you can remove the bolt and trigger locks and it should still work.
The Vortex blasters impact is similar to N-Strike blasters at close range.
Sg nerf, which do you prefer, n-strike, vortex, or dart tag? also which is your favourite gun?
ReplyDeleteThis nerf gun is sick!
ReplyDeleteSgnerf, how did you get the speed swarm? Also, which do you prefer? praxis or vigilon?
ReplyDeleteSg nerf, what is your favourite gun, praxys, recon, longstrike whiteout, whiteout spectre? Thanks:)
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteI prefer the Nerf N-Strike range, i'm more keen on the foam dart blaster aspect of Nerf.
My favorite blaster nowadays is the Nerf Air Tech 3000 (aka AT3K), i use a modded one in most Nerf games now.
I got my Speedswarm from an overseas seller.
Praxis or Vigilon? I'd go for the Praxis.
Sgnerf, sorry to keep asking, but who are you?
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteI'm SgNerf. :)
What is your real name:0
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteMy real name is... SgNerf. :D
What is your address? Can I buy modding equipment?
ReplyDeleteAre you a fan of apple or Microsoft? :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):
ReplyDeleteSgnerf, when I put a dart in the hornet, it just keeps popping out. Same with the longshot barrel extension. It bcoz of the air restrictor? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIs the nerf spectre whiteout real or just a hoax, if it's real can you recommend any stores that have them?
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteI'm not a shop and i don't sell modding equipment.
Please don't post non-Nerf related stuff here.
If the foam darts pop out on their own easily when you load them into barrels, it probably means the foam darts have become too loose and are getting pushed out by the spring in the AR parts. Use better foam darts that fit properly.
I've not seen the Nerf Spectre in Whiteout variant in any stores so far.
Sorry about your inconvenience. :p
ReplyDeleteWhat are air restrictors for?
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteAir restrictors (AR) are designed to stop air from exiting the bolt when there are no foam darts in it. A pocket of blocked air will form inside the bolt when the AR is closed so the plunger impact will be cushioned (without that pocket of blocked air, the repeated impacts will damage the plunger). Only when a foam dart is loaded then the AR will open to allow air through.
Sgnerf, can
ReplyDeleteYou recommend any good stores to buy whiteout long strikes or deploys, because I looked at all the toys r us stores but couldn't find them. Thanks.
Yo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteTry Toys R Us at Forum Mall or at Paragon, i spotted Whiteout Longstrikes still available at those places just a week ago.
Btw, do shop around to find blasters, sometimes you'll just have to check at more stores to find them.
sgnerf, oneof the comments said you were on tv. Can you post me the address of the website? Thanks. : )
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteOne of my blog sites was briefly (like only a split second) shown in a news segment in the states, no idea where the link could be, but I guess you could try searching for it.
sgnerf, what is the green switch on top of the nitron stock?
ReplyDeleteDude stop asking sooooo many questions including what is your name/address sgnerf is his online name. and address is not smart to announce Publicly ps I'm not a hater I'm just stating the facts.
DeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteThat is the sliding switch for clearing disc jams.
sgnerf, my hornet keeps leaking air, and all the new darts which fit stiffly in my other blasters just keep popping out. as for the hornet, if i cover all the tubes and just pump when i release , all air rushes out, if i pump the gun and after that slide the cocking handle by 1cm, rhe indicaror goes all the way forward and air rushes out again. as for the titan, it is leaking. why is that?
ReplyDeleteand also, do you hate buzzbee, lanard, and oter rip off brands of nerf?
Thanks. : )
which office do you work in? and jow large is it to play nerf games?
ReplyDeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you obviously have a faulty Hornet and Titan unit, either you open them up to try to fix their leaks... or just toss them out and buy new working sets, save all the hassle.
The 3rd-party blaster brands all have their fair share of crappy blasters too (like Nerf), but there are a number of blasters which are actually better then Nerf blasters due to their modding potential.
For example, the Buzz Bee Big Blast, Lanard Tripleshot/Quadshot, ERTL Pump Action Shotgun, ERTL Rapid Fire Shotgun etc.
In stock condition they are nothing special, but once they are modded, they regularly outperform similarly modded Nerf blasters in Nerf games.
If you attend Nerf games, especially those with experienced players attending, you'll notice that there can often be more players using modded 3rd-party brand blasters than players using Nerf brand blasters. :)
Yo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteI'm not keen on giving out personal information like where i work, if you are not aware, your questions tend to border on "stalker" mode.
sgnerf did you hear about the new rayven? if you have one can u pls make a full review of it? thanks
ReplyDeleteHave u nothing 2 say about the stalker comment
DeleteYo-Masters,
ReplyDeleteYup, its one of the few upcoming Nerf blaster models available soon. I'll post up reviews once i get them.
Is the range of the whiteout guns the same as their originals? I heard that the whiteout has become more powerful.
ReplyDeleteYM,
ReplyDeleteWell, i've tested multiple sets of the Whiteout Series blasters and they also vary in performance amongst individual units (like the other series models), so i guess it just depends on production batch... and luck. :)
I was wondering where you can get the Nerf Longstrike CS-6 in Singapore. Earlier I went to Paragon ToysRUs and they did not have it! This weekend I am going to Harbourfront's ToysRUs, do you think they will have it there? Please tell me where I can get this gun in Singapore? Please also tell me the location not just the store name.
ReplyDeleteNickCook619,
ReplyDeleteTry Toys R Us Forum Mall, i was there just a few days back and saw stock still available.
You can also find them at other major dept stores too (ie. OG, Metro etc), just shop around to find them.
Where is the Toys R Us Forum Mall?
ReplyDeleteNickCook619,
ReplyDeletehttp://www.toysrus.com.sg/inside/location.htm
Do you think it will be at Harbourfront Vivo City?
ReplyDeleteNickCook619,
ReplyDeleteI've no idea, perhaps you should just call the store outlets to check before you visit them.
hey sgnerf! if remove the air restrictor in a nerf gun, and put the plunger padding, like u did, will the pluger tube be damaged when dry firing ?
ReplyDeleterubesh's nerf,
ReplyDeleteThe plunger padding only helps to cushion the impact force in the plunger (it does not totally eliminate the impact stress), there is still much higher impact than if the AR was intact, so its always best to avoid dry firing if possible.
Excuse me SgNerf,But is the whiteout longstrike still available
ReplyDeleteLeonard Sim,
ReplyDeleteYes, they can currently still be found at major dept stores in Singapore, but stock availability can vary between individual stores, so you'll just have to shop around to find them.
should i get this or raider ?
ReplyDeleteairsoft sucks,
ReplyDeleteFor Nerf games, get the Raider 'cos it has the slam-fire feature, pump action fore grip design and comes with a 35-dart drum magazine... much more effective for actual gameplay.
But if just used purely for display, then get the Longstrike. Most people buy Longstrikes mainly for its design. :)
hey sgnerf,
ReplyDeletei am keen in buying one of these whiteout series longstrike cs-6. do you have any in stock or anything and willing to sell? thx
Marcus merritt,
DeleteSorry, i don't have any spares for sale.
I guess you could check at online stores or perhaps at the various Nerf forum trading sections, see if anyone has them for sale.
Hey sgnerf,
ReplyDeleteDo they still sell the whiteout series?
moogaffy,
DeleteI've not seen then in local stores for quite a while, so it looks like they are sold out locally.
So it's July 2012 I really want 2 get a whiteout longstrike any chance btw I live in England
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteI've no idea of the stock availability in UK, you'll just have to shop around to find them.
So there is a chance of getting one?!?
DeleteI'm not sure if anyone has noticed this yet but on your pictures the handle colour is black, orange, black but on other pictures the handle colour is orange, black, orange any ideas?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteIt looks similar to me... though sometimes there are graphics variations between the box art and the actual blasters, its quite common.
Oh ok...now I feel stupid :(
ReplyDeleteI know that this is just a colored longstrike, but does it shoot farther? Is is more accurate? Is it sturdier?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteFrom my experience, they have similiar range and performance as the normal versions.
Any range differences is usually just due to production variations between individual units.
dear sg nerf
ReplyDeletewould this probably be a hard blaster to find because i've never seen it in stores near me is that just my luck or is it really rare?
Anonymous,
DeleteThe Whiteout Series was a limited edition series and only available for a short time, so once they were sold out there were no more re-stocks.
Dear
DeleteSG Nerf
Well could i at least find one online? If so could you recommend some sites?
Anonymous,
DeleteI guess the only way to get them nowadays is to search eBay or the various Nerf forum trading sections to find others who have spare or 2nd hand sets for sale.
where might i be able to purchase one for myself?
ReplyDeleteashtin,
DeleteThe Whiteout Series blasters are limited edition models and have all been sold out at stores for quite a while already... nowadays, you'll have to check at Nerf forums or eBay to find sellers of those particular blasters.
@sg nerf where can you get a normal longstrike or the whiteout one in sg?? Toys r us? I need one for my birthday
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteThe Longstrike seems to be out of production for a while already, so i guess you'll have to buy it from online sellers who still have stock, or 2nd hand from other existing owners who are willing to sell them.
Just check on sites like eBay or the various local Nerf groups.
